What have you learned from your audience feedback?

Before I decided which genre I would choose for my trailer, I did a survey among 20 people from different age groups about their opinion on different genre of film.

Below are the pie chart of the result of the first and the second question.

And most of the people have answered thriller in the last question. Therefore, I added another question as second round of the survey – what kind of thriller do you like? Below is the pie chart for this question.

So I decided to do a psychological thriller.

After I finish the trailer, I uploaded it onto YouTube, Facebook and WeChat, together with my poster and magazine cover.

There are several suggestions given by a professional short movie maker from China.

With many advice like that I shortened and re-edited my film to make it better for a trailer. This is what I learned from my audience research.
